Just like its counterpart, the East Austin Studio Tour, WEST is a free, self-guided tour that champions the abundance of talent of Austin’s large and wildly diverse creative community. The public is invited to discover new artistic talent, see working studios, learn about artists’ tools, techniques, and inspirations, and support the arts community.

I’m #151 on the map. My most recent work will be on display and I’ll have some originals for sale, prints, and cards. There will also be fortune-telling.

My guest artist is jewelry designer Lisa Chandler.

There is a corresponding group show open this week (10-5) and on the weekend during tour hours at 241 West 3rd Street. It’s a good place to get an overview of all the artists participating and figure out whose studios you want to check out.

Print catalogs and maps are available for free at all Austin public libraries. I’m partial to this page:

If you’re in Austin, come out and see us! I cleaned for you.

Most likely places to find a bingo hall in Texas

Next to Sun City

Next to Randalls

Next to Walmart

Behind the Taco Bell (2 are behind Taco Bells)

Some of the sponsors for bingo in Texas include the Holland Corn Festival, The Annunciation Maternity Home, The House of Isaiah Athletes for a Drug Free America, Christ the King, and the Bell County Society for Crippled Children.

Perhaps the most exciting bingo in Texas is on Tuesdays. That’s when the Golden Bell Bingo Hall in Gun Barrel City has Hot Ball.

Josh Ritter, whom I am convinced has developed extra strong facial muscles from smiling so much. He can write the hell out of a song. Here is one that he can’t sing on the radio.

The many projects of Brock Davis:

Paintings, illustration, & collage by Oliver Jeffers:

Amelie Mancini’s Left Field baseball cards. She has two series so far – one featuring players’ bizarre injuries, and one with players with food-names. This, of course, is Astro Kevin Bass.

Stay tuned for more delights. I promise not to keep them to myself anymore.
